Learning a craft comes through the hands. While the craft is in the hands, the effect is in the heart. Like Michangelo who claimed that he merely removed what needed removing from a block of marble, revealing what he saw with his heart’s eye, children and animals saw what needed to be removed from me to allow love to come forth. To be handmade is to belong in the deepest way. In this workshop we will work with both clay and ourselves to discover the joy and love of crafting.
