Projekt with Klaus Seits, Apprentice in Austria

We, women of the Soroptimist Club Windischgarsten Kremstal supported this project because we believe that such experiences are missed out in today’s everyday life of many children. It seems that our world is moving in a direction in which “social competence” should ideally be its own discipline. In addition to their teaching activities, however, educators already have to fulfill a series of assignments so that, in our view, projects such as “Original Play” can only be evaluated positively.
In the VS II in Kirchdorf, over a semester, “Original Play” was financed as a pilot project by our club. Due to the extremely positive experiences, it would be a pleasure for us if the project could also be carried out at other schools.
Wir Frauen des Soroptimist Clubs Windischgarsten Kremstal haben dieses Projekt unterstützt, weil wir glauben, dass derartige Erfahrungen im heutigen Lebensalltag vieler Kinder zu kurz kommen. Es scheint so, als würde sich unsere Welt in eine Richtung entwickeln, in der „Soziale Kompetenz“ am besten ein eigenes Schulfach sein sollte. Pädagoginnen und Pädagogen haben neben ihrer Lehrtätigkeit aber schon jetzt eine Reihe von Aufträgen zu erfüllen, sodass aus unserer Sicht Projekte wie „Original Play“ nur positiv zu bewerten sind.
In der VS II in Kirchdorf wurde über ein Semester „Original Play“ als Pilotprojekt von unserem Club finanziert. Aufgrund der äußerst positiven Erfahrungen wäre es uns eine Freude, wenn das Projekt auch an anderen Schulen durchgeführt werden könnte.
